What we do

Three ways we move the local economy forward

Economic development in a small community is practical work: helping a business find a building, connecting a family to the resources they need, and making the case for the greater Springer area to people who've never driven through it.

01 · Recruit

Attract investment

We help businesses considering the Springer area understand available sites, workforce, incentives, and the cost advantages of operating here.

02 · Retain

Support what's here

Our existing employers are our foundation. We work to help local businesses stay open, expand, and hire from the community.

03 · Build

Strengthen the community

Infrastructure, downtown vitality, and quality of life all shape whether people and businesses choose to plant roots here. We advocate for all of it.

Why the Springer area

A location built for people who want room to work.

Springer sits along the I-25 corridor between Raton and Las Vegas, on the high plains beneath the Sangre de Cristo range and along the Cimarron River. It's a real Main Street town with affordable land, a hard-working population, and a location that puts Denver, Albuquerque, and Amarillo all within reach.
